Thomas Dudley Ltd, recently entered the Pavestone Rally challenge and successfully raised £17,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust and Rainy Day Trust.
Pavestone Ltd partnered with the Teenage Cancer Trust and Rainy Day Trust to run a car, to be purchased at £500 or less, across 10 countries from the UK to Monte Carlo and Nice. The ‘Dudley Disco’ team comprised of Daniel Mills, Anthony McDonagh, Tony Grimley and Steven Page.
Daniel Mills, National Sales Manager said, “This was an extremely challenging yet exciting and rewarding experience for us all to participate in, on behalf of Thomas Dudley. Working alongside Pavestone, there were over 42 other teams taking part. Throughout the four-days, we had various challenges set and had to achieve them, whereby points were awarded if successful. In addition, we had to do all the driving and challenges in fancy dress which included our theme of ‘Dudley Disco’, clowns, nurses, cavemen and plenty more.”
Dan continued, “We constantly kept everyone aware of where we were with social media updates and even ended up on BBC West Midlands radio (96.5 FM). The support we’ve received has been phenomenal and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated. We have some plans to potentially raise more money with Dudley 2018 calendars and to have the ‘Dudley Disco’ rally car to tour the UK at potential merchants and trade shows.”
The trip commenced from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th September 2017, and to date Pavestone have raised a fantastic £160,000. Thomas Dudley are proud to participate and help raise funds and awareness for the two causes.
