Pavestone have partnered with the Teenage Cancer Trust and Rainy Day Trust to run a banger rally down to Monte Carlo and Nice from the UK. Thomas Dudley are proud to participate and help raise funds and awareness for the two causes, which will commence early Thursday 7th September, 2017.
Pavestone have organised this event and theme to help raise over £100k, however when the company approached Thomas Dudley about the event to raise awareness and money for the two partnered charities, Teenage Cancer Trust and Rainy Day Trust it’s something which Dudley couldn’t refuse.
Daniel Mills, Steven Page, Anthony McDonagh and Tony Grimley who work for Thomas Dudley, alongside other entrants will meet at the white cliffs of Dover and then head into Belgium via Ghent. The first night’s stop will be in Luxembourg City. Day two will consist of heading through Germany and Switzerland with an overnight in Liechtenstein. Day three will be through Austria before turning right over the Stelvio Pass into Italy and finishing the day in Verona. The last day will be a straightforward drive to Monte Carlo and overnight in Nice.
The aim is to drive straight through – all in fancy dress, via geocaching coordinates. This tags on location which offers various challenges or prizes at that selected destination. The trip will commence from Thomas Dudley offices, but officially from Dover, UK from Thursday 7th until Sunday 10th September 2017.
Once the event has beencompleted, the aim will be to raise awareness of the two causes but also continue to fundraise and use the car at local events. All proceeds from this event will be divided equally between Teenage Cancer Trust and Rainy Day Trust.
