Thomas Dudley’s Joint MD raises over £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Thomas Dudley’s Joint MD, Jason Parker has completed the Staffordshire half Ironman on the 12th June 2016 and helped raised a whopping £2219 for his chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Jason entered the Ironman challenge which consists of a 1.2-mile swim in Chasewater reservoir, a 56-mile bike course through the countryside outside Lichfield, followed by a 13.1-mile run at the historic Shugborough country estate. He finished the challenge after a gruelling 6 hours and 35 minutes.

Jason commented: “As so many of us are touched by the dreadful disease cancer, the work Macmillan Cancer Support do is just truly remarkable and it’s one of the most humbling experiences I have witnessed. To help raise funds for this charity I entered the Staffordshire half Ironman. The experience was extremely tough but I finished the course in a respectable time and I’m overwhelmed by the support I received. I will be entering other challenges and raising more money in the near future.

Thomas Dudley Ltd. is proud of its staff who support various charities including Macmillan Cancer Support. For more information on Macmillan Cancer Support and Ironman challenge visit, www.macmillan.org.uk and eu.ironman.com/#axzz4CDrd9aNX
